Feature: Building the World Husky Weight Tag Team Podcast Championship Belts

We have been tirelessly saving white claw beer tabs for the past couple of months. After organizing them, the real work finally started.

I purchased some thin wood boards (4.5” x 3.25”) and some metal chargers for the center disc.

The plain white claw tabs, the center disc and the plaques were spray painted gold.

I used E6000 clue with a precision tip to mount the tabs on the discs and plaques.

E-Money’s belt features a green dollar symbol in the center of his disc and The Chisler’s features a red cents sign.

The plaques feature quotes from our podcast intros for each of us.

After thinking through a couple options, I decided to use press on letters to finish the center discs.

I purchased vinyl leather material and created a template for the outline for the belts (lots of math and measuring here...). I put 10 rivets and snaps to easily put on and remove the belts.

The plaques and discs were secured to the fabric using E6000 glue and left to dry for 24 hours.

I’m very happy with how they turned out and the project was a really fun challenge. And now it’s official!
